The same with me, its started a round 7 this evening, is this in the Cape Town area or is it the SAT-3?
 
Well way back we had alot of bad lag and they moved us onto the SAT3, this was in the Cape Town area. Ill have a look back in the post to see how long back.

I can confirm WoW is definitely not happy tonight. I've just been in touch with our senior networks man and he has all hands on deck right now and a consultant from our equipment vendors looking at the matter. DurbanMonkey I completely understand your frustration - I was hoping to run some dungeons tonight myself. Please hang in there and if you need to rant you can do it directly to me - my team look after the HelloPeter responses as well so you'll ultimately end up back in the same place :)

Thanks for the feedback. Being told that it is actively being investigated (instead of just sending information) makes a world of a difference. most of us here are just pissed off at the situation.

also, a little advice, never ever tell a customer that someone only works 8-5 when problems are having after hours. that's an internal issue that the customer doesn't care about :)

Mweb Guy just replied to me. The Game master is working from 8 to 5. So no gaming tonight this is unacceptable. Can I just play 1 game without issues thats all I ask.

Just to respond on this one guys: Our gamesmaster is in charge of the gaming environment on MWEB's network, but he does not monitor the equipment himself as he does need to sleep occasionally. WoW latency would also ultimately not be his responsiblity although I can assure you that he does care deeply about the issue, even though I believe he plays a Horde.

The game servers on our network are monitored 24/7 by our NOC team and in the event of anything going wrong there are resources available to address the problem.

Yep definitely feeling the pain too, my Rogue is at lvl 79 and I'm looking forward to seeing Cata content for the first time. You're completely right about the 8-5 response and you can consider MWEB Guy's ear pulled on the matter.

Age of Conan also not happy at all getting 4k latency in game. Using afrihost and am getting 205 latency.
