line is fine it seems, does exchnage support 10mbs, if yes, your most probably have overpopulated exchange, or crap contention ratio.

your noise snr is pretty low ,should get to 30s atleast.

Actually I think we may be overlooking the obvious here. It's possible the pingtest server he is connecting to is on a network we are not peering with.

Telkom says the exchange does not support 10mb yet.
Anything I can do from my side to improve the stats?

Yeah I get a low ping to the Joburg Vodacom server via speedtest and then a higher ping to the Pretoria Vodacom server via pingtest.
Also looks like I'm unable to log into steam once again.
Oh there it goes, only took about 10 tries.

Hi Will,

Just wanted to ask something, was there any changes made between Tuesday and Wednesday?

I also like to know, currently having a problem with Telkom not installing ADSL at my home, so might need a month or 2 on Amobia where it seems they make use of M-Web for their uncapped packages.

the reason why I would like to know is this, Tuesday my ping was messed up, had to change my account to my backup axxess one, last night everything was fine, after 6 it spiked to 10k, so i removed addons etc (new patch with outdated addons messed up), 30 minutes later i was done with that but ping was still 8k-20k fluctuating. I logged off and after 8PM i logged just to check...and my ping was 300-350 (not the day ping of 200-270 but still good)....

so that is why i'm wondering......

Hey I experienced a similar thing. At six my latency started to climb and I was experiencing major packet loss as usual. So i switched to my Axxess. Then later that night, not sure what time, I logged backed in on Mweb and latency was perfect for about 30mins, as soon as i joined a group though it all went pear shaped again.

I was standing for about 5 minutes in dalaran sewers admiring the rats there and the daylie slauter fest of them then I quit, so I wouldn't know about the rest...

Cant play on eu wow servers again.

Hi there, im realy having bad lag on the eu wow servers, was ok 2 days ago but im back were i was like 4 week ago. Getting 4-5k ms and iv got the batches upto date and im running an mweb 4m line so i realy dont know what to do now and god knows what its going to be like next month. I see that when mweb got me line up and running iv not gone past 1.7m and iv test the line all the time to see. Iv done phone calls over phone calls, i just would like to know if something is going to happen, if not then i know that i will have to stop playing wow and end my mweb acc as its costing me a lot 899.00 and line rental and paying for wow ever month. Please help and its nice to see that someone from mweb is try to help. :p

*Yawn,

An article got written about this, and now there's no need for Will to reply anymore. As it's in the news, with the same answer we got here: 'We are looking in to it.'

One thing I hate about 7 December being our 'deadline' (see what I did there?) for them to fix the issues, is that they will still get to rub their hands together, as once we send them our cancellation, they will be smiling all the way to the bank, until the end of Jan when our cancellations finally go through.

This is getting ridiculous. What is every other ISP doing right that Mweb isn't? surely it isnt that complex? What happens at 6 that changes everything? I mean surely after hours the shaping is relaxed, so it should get better. Unless mwebs network cant handle the traffic. Arrrrg. So fustrating wasting so much freaking money on unshaped services :(
