As of the very early hours this morning we have restored all of our international bandwidth and we are running on full capacity once again. Indications from SEACOM are that their cable will only be restored later next week. In the interim, we now have full capacity split over two separate routes. Once again, thank you for your patience and support during this time.

Kind Regards

Very good news indeed, thank you mweb for keeping us in the loop

Congrats!

From what I've been reading - Seacom is going to be down quite some time (more than the claimed week).

Great news indeed.

Must say as a business subscriber (Still on Mweb's IS type accounts) I hardly noticed.

So I can download again. Good news. Hope SEACOM get the cable fixed soon. And thanks to all the engineers at MWEB that likely spend the whole day reconfiguring routing over the new links. And the people that negotiated this.

Can anyone else on MWEB business confirm? I'll gladly move up if it provides a more stable uncapped.

Well I give you guys enough flak, so it's only fair I give some praise when it's due - thanks for restoring the international capacity during this YASS. (Yet Another SEACOM Screw-up)

Are you going to be keeping these new links as a backup for when (not if) the SEACOM cable goes down again?

Awesome news indeed! Well done, guys!

I noticed it was working last night already. Latency in WoW is not as good as it normally is but it's playable. Let's hope Seacom sorts that cable out soon.

I never "upgraded" when they brought out the cheaper prices.

Thought I'd wait till the bugs are ironed out, looks like it was a good move.

Funny, my DSL line doesn't want to authenticate with MWEB since this morning... fun stuff

Yeh, my access also seems down - or my home pc died... I placed a file in dropbox which gets picked up and deleted by my home PC - and it isn't happening.

I also can't get to my media center web interface.
