MWEB international bandwidth capacity restored

Other ISP's have also restored their international bandwidth.
 
I don't even want to know how much this is costing MWEB.

Having just secured thousands of "Heavy Users" on their network at super low costs, then suddenly they have to fork out even more for bandwidth as their primary supplier has network problems.

Surely they have been running at a loss this first few months of supplying this service... now it's even worse.

* Holds thumbs * .... hope they can sustain this for a few more months until budget is in black again :) .... would hate to see this venture fail :(
 
so that extra R20/month is worth it! Thanks MWEB..should we now switch to our original user with the "dsl" part before the MWEB in our routters?

My guess is EASSY... they've probably paid EASSY to do some "testing" for them.

Telkom would never relax anything until the WC is completely over.

Some of the routing via India to the US West coast (across the Pacific) is much slower than SAT-3 (trans Atlantic).

Check out before you make a permanent switch. Its 50/50 for me, since most of my traffic is to Europe and US East coast.

Well done Mweb! I have mweb uncapped 219 and it has worked well even during the seacom outage, mweb kept us informed at all times and they had international for most of the time.

We have also switched our offices over to Mweb and again, Great service!!
 
Whatever they did, they must keep doing as my P2P was the fastest it ever was last night.
