MWEB news server issues

I am also on 384 uncapped and saturday till sunday I had speeds between 30 -40kbps. But since yesterday I am lucky if I get 10kbps. Even downloading from the net directly gives me 10kbps.
Just when they sorted out the news server issue this one creeps up looks like we never gonna win.
Its always one issue after the other and they take their own sweet time sorting the issue.
 
I would just like some clarification. I was able to connect to MWEB news server last month with a Telkom account. I have this 1gb Internation and 10gb local with them. So I usually stretch my 1gb till 20th or so, so I can at least surf as per normal. But I tried connecting last Saturday and was unable to connect. So my question is, are you still able to download from MWEB News Server with a Telkom account using your local acccount.

are you sure you were using the mweb server, not news.saix.net? because afaik one could never connect to news-jhb.mweb.co.za with a Telkom account

ok cool i will, i am currently at work and teamviewer keeps on crashing so cant remote desktop to home, but i got my news app running , so will report back then, if did not download anything.

P.s was not running when i left home, so i just ran some torrents for today.
 
I could not connect last night at all to jhb-news, I could get a connection to the cpt sever early in the evening, but that too stopped working. I assume I am not the only one??????

This morning when I left for work I had no access to mweb news,,,

We have no outages reported at the moment, please advise if you are still having problems accessing our new server.

I am sure, I am using news.mweb.co.za. Can anybody perhaps provide me with a news server that I can use. Because I tried news.saix.net and news.is.co.za, but with all of it I was unable to get a connection.
 
mweb news server down

Hi the news.mweb.co.za server is not connecting since Monday morning this week.
It has not connected again since.

Please advise.

Same issue here. I've been getting no connection since yesterday 28 April
 
Guys, where can I get a NZB' files to do the test. My AltBinz is downloading something but shows no DL speed and once its done 100% there is no files in the download folder either. Strange!
