Ever since I returned from a client today at 14:30 I've had a perfect connection via MWEB. Fast browsing, all sites I tried working.

Would you like to qualify that statement about perfect connection and fast browsing. LOL ;-)

Some local sites, including this one, are also being routed via India and the UK:

I've not seen anything that I could notice. Opening several windows in Firefox opens as fast as usual for me, as does YouTube. Second Life works as well as normal at this time of the night. Granted, it's all subjective from me sitting in front of my PC.

You're correct. I didn't do a traceroute to MyBB until you mentioned it, but it DOES route via India.

You will NOT be billed anything more than your current package. Please remember that if this bandwidth is being abused then all Mweb clients run the risk of being booted off.

The MWeb international traffic seems to have switched back to SAT-3, and local sites route normally...

on mweb 4meg uncapped.

all runs fine incl international but youtube videos only load to 2 seconds and then stop. has mweb throttled youtube?

video through vimeo and such seem to load fine. its just youtube that has the problem

suppose so, but since abuse was not defined how i'm to know that getting for example via steam l4d2 or monkey 2 se could be seen as abuse...

Maybe Mweb should introduce a 50GB (or somesuch) cap until the cable is repaired.
