Mweb Uncapped 384kbps to 1Mbps upgrade, but no difference

I wonder if someone here could let me know what speed i should be expecting from the above upgrade.

When they called me, they told me i could expect 3x faster speeds.
So that tells me that i should have gone from the normal 42kbps to about 126kbps download speeds, but it seems i am still averaging 38 - 42kbps.

According to Mweb, my service has been upgraded and all is fine on their side.
My line syncs way above 1Mbps, as i have a 4 - 10Mbps line with telkom.

Wait...what? What line are you paying for?

And yeah, on a 1mbps line you should be getting between 90kB/s to 120kB/s.

As markface mentioned, rather pay for a 1meg line if you are only going to use 1meg account(s).
