I just signed up with Mweb a week or so ago and had some issues with int bandwitdh, 4mb line running at dialup speed practically.I would suggest:
a) Transfer your line to Mweb, then they have to sort it out.
b) Get another ISP. It seems Mweb has grown to big to fast.

They just said line is with Telkom, hamba!
So this is a little OT, but what do I have to do to get the line with MWEB so they can be a little more responsive, and what does it cost (extra?)
thx
Hi All
I received som feedback regarding the outage.
Seacom have confirmed that the current outage is being caused by cable breaks in the Mediterranean
They have not confirmed how long this will take to fix and they are looking at restoring capacity via alternative routes asap.
We are currently running on our backup WACS capacity which is just over a third of our international requirements.
22 MARCH 2013
Multiple subsea cable cuts have been confirmed off the northern coast of Egypt in the Mediterranean Sea, which are impacting a number of cable systems in Africa, Middle East and Asia connecting to Europe.
SEACOM is currently working to establish restoration options on alternative capacity across the Mediterranean Sea and also by adding further IP capacity in Asia.
It is expected that it will take some hours to confirm options and arrange network re-routing. SEACOM will contact customers directly to discuss restoration options.

Locking the computer when going afk from it is as simple as pressing windowskey+L. I'd be more worried about people being able to access my mail by simply unlocking my phone should my phone be lying somewhere or be stolen than I'd be concerned of someone accessing my mail on my desktop computer at home or work.
And any professional can set up mail forwarding with most mail servers so that they can use gmail to receive and send mails using their 'real' email address without it ever being apparent that it's actually going to and coming from a gmail account.
Very OTRerouting all your mail through Gmail? Man, I would find that painful. Most people have a password or pattern lock on their phone, as is possible with Outlook.
Look whatever, to each his own. I'm just saying I've never known a single person who actually managed their email through a web browser. Telling someone that I can't access an old email because the internet is down or my data connection won't connect would be preposterous. And most people I know have at least three email addresses, which any desktop client can properly separate along the left pane.

MWeb's continued use of seacom as their primary provider doesn't reflect well on their commitment to their products or customers.
