Any feedback on the 40mb trial and how its going to work?

The trial will only happen in certain areas namely : Benmore Gardens, Fourways and Waterkloof in Gauteng; Durban North in Kwa-Zulu Natal and Durbanville in the Western Cape.

She is in Benmore Gardens, I phoned sales department yesterday but they didnt seem to know what I was talking about.

As far as I know this is in the planning stages. I will have a look and see if I can find out more detail for you.

Is my fault still being attended to by Telkom?

I see that on the MWEB notifications page that the Knysna fault is closed but I'm still experiencing precisely the same problems.

And tomorrow, if I remember correctly, between the blessed hours of 08:00 - 17:00 there'll be a power outage here. I love you, Eskom!

Yep. I've rebooted repeatedly today. Just did so again for the heck of it and:

I'll refresh your account now. Please allow for 30min to pass then do another reboot. Also ask Telkom to refresh the port.

Urgh... I am so not spending my evening listening to that godawful hold music. I'll deal with it on Monday if it persists after the power outage tomorrow.

Hey Mweb guy you helped me with a account reauthentication a few days ago. my latency is up at 900ms in the kuilsriver area again. I phoned telkom and according to them nothing is wrong. i'm getting an average download speed of 0.20mbps local and international and its not the case on my afrihost account which hits 0.80mbps during speedtests. Is there something wrong as this has been going on for weeks nw.

Please help. Kind regards

Not so much RE the feedback of the ADSL service, just a question RE the debit order collection...

My debit orders are collected from a specific account, separate from my "everyday" account. I logged in now to deposit my monthly moolas for debit orders and to pull a statement, but noticed that MWeb tried to collect funds from me on the 19th of September - which obviously bounced now - just find it funny that the debit ran 1.5 weeks earlier than it was meant to.

Anyhow, what to do now? Make a manual payment? I saw the banking details on the invoice - so I can do that. Just don't want to pay manually and then maybe there is another debit scheduled for tomorrow or whatever.

Penny for your thoughts? :erm:

Just concerned it get's cut off or something because it's "unpaid", was under the impression though that it would be collected @ month end. :)

I would just like to know when i could expect the upgrade from 384kb/s to 1mb/s and if there was a way to speed the process up?
