I have recreated your port again and the line reading has improved marginally.

Please also change your username realm to @dsl512two.co.za and let me know if it makes a difference.

Your SNR reading is at 5.5dB at the moment which is too low.

I am going to recreate your port and drop your line speed to 4MB as a test.

EDIT: I have now dropped your line speeds to 4MB and it has improved your SNR reading to 9dB. Please reboot your router for 5minutes and let me know if the problem persists

Odd I have just changed to my Afrihost test account, and Steam is downloading full speed. So the issues has to be on Mweb's side.

Let me know if it improved after you switch back to your MWEB account.

Its got even worse, sites dont load. speedtest shows my download speed as 0.98, where it was 5.88 before you change the speed to 4MB. Afrihost though is flying??

With Afrihost my game on Steam is downloading at 425Kb/s, and the graph is constant. With MWeb there is no speed and the graph has steps in it where it goes from zero to 65KB/s

Please set the speed back to what it was before we started these tests as its not helping my problem.

The speedtest does something odd too, it starts off near 4Mbps, then immediately drops to 1Mbps. Has my account been switched to 1Mb for some reason?

Will send tracert soon, but this is the result from speetest using Afrihost

23ms, 4.25Mbps, 0.33Mbps, a clear indiciation somethign is not right with my account on Mweb's side.

Please this is not what I am paying for, please reset my account to the speed before you set it to 4Mbps, as at least then I had some type of connection, not nothing seems to work.

This is an issue on your side and it needs to be resolved, its not my router, my line or my connection, if that was the case then Afrihost would also be slow, and from the tests above that is not the case.

I have only recreated your port and dropped your line speed. I have set it back to the way it was and recreated your port again.
 
Instead of losing your lid, as frustrating as it is, provide as many tests as possible and let Mweb Guy do his thing.
 
I switched on Protective Access again, the speedtest results have now improved to what they were before, but Steam refuses to download continuously, it will stop and start all the time. Afrihost gives a constant full speed download.

Well I have given all the tests I can, if on the same hardware another ISP works 100%, then its not a problem on my side, and other users are also experiencing issues.

If you think I am losing my lid, then you have not seen anything yet. I pay R899 for a premium connection, I expect a premium service.
