MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

Anyone know how long it takes for mweb to downgrade my account from my 4meg uncapped to a 1gb capped?

Been waiting 2 days already for just the confirmation email.

I've just finished a short trial with openweb, and now back to the current train wreck that is MWEB. 11kb/s downloads from my dropbox account. Openweb did them at 100kb/s. I'm sorry but there is no ways the MWEB network is 90% back to normal.

I guess its now time to look for a new ISP.
 
hi, can anyone tell me when mweb 4Mbps uncapped drop from R539 to R359, they keep charging me R539 per month for the package, but when i check mweb website their price for data bundles is R359.
 
in KZN here, I can ping 196.25.1.1 which is a local Telkom DNS server, perfectly fine @ about 30ms...

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 203ms, Maximum = 205ms, Average = 204ms

It thoutht MWEB should have had enough time to secure reliable (even if slow) backup capacity?

20% packet loss is very, very bad!

Downgrade of the data will take affect the 1 April.

Just not receiving any confirmation is alarming.

Edit : If i changed now will i still have to pay the R539 since i remember correctly Mweb has a pay in advance policy?

Hi Bar_Rat

There is a pro-rata charge.

The new price for April and the advance bill. This can be clarified by our Client Services.
 
Loading this web page takes 20 seconds or longer. Several sites you need to refresh multiple time just to get them to load.
