Morning ABCpt

From the results you provided, this points to a congested exchange. The 2nd hop is high, I suggest contacting Telkom, inform them about this and also provide them the results.

Slow in CPT, southern Suburbs, tech support have no clue. As stated before log onto a different ISP and it flies again. Chaps its time to change over to a different ISP. Now not only do i have slow speeds but the connection drops as well, 15 disconnects today alone.

Morning PurSpyk!!

I checked the account and can see that there is still an open log on the account. Our team is in contact communication with regards to this. I know it has been an on-going fault and we are following up in order to get it resolved.

My internet dropped last night at around 21:00, could not connect at all after restarting router and having a port reset done. 016 area (Vereeniging).

Morning Gerhardva

There were Telkom reported issues in the 016 area. It seems this has been resolved. Please reboot your router to see if you are able to connect.

My issue is when I get called nothing gets resolved. Everytime I get told a different story, and I sit with the same problem. Last nights call lasted 5mins max, it was agreed I have a issue, and that was that. I want solutions or something actually done about the issue. I have seen nothing.

Things are looking good on my side in Durban today. Hopefully it stays that way :)

Hey Mweb Guy, getting some awful packet loss in DDO again. It's jumping from 0% to 3% to 8% and back. Did a pingtest, shows nothing hinky.

Good evening, are you experiencing packet loss with any other games at the moment?

Lol, I actually don't play any other online games but all the tests (tracerts, pingtests, jitter, etc) are looking fine. It's just when ingame that it's jumping around like crazy :(

:( was hoping you could test with an alternate game, just so we know if the problem is directly linked with DDO

I actually do think it's the game itself because they've been having issues on and off for a day or two. Probably linked to that in some way. If it was my connection I would be seeing it elsewhere not just DDO.

Let me know if it continues and I will have our gaming team test from our side as well ;)

Hey guys..

Anyone having speed issues with news server downloads? Port 119* traffic? I'm struggling to get more than 400KB/s on my 10 Mbps line.

When I switched to a my free FNB account the download via international news server fly at almost full speed.

Also a torrent of 6000+ seeds doesn't want to connect, but when using the FNB account it runs smooth and connects fine.

Mweb shaping that traffic now?

Edit * fixed port no

having same problem. I can't connect to mweb's news server and my torrents are dead although it's seeded.
