After changing your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4. it is sometimes necessary to flush you DNS. Go to cmd - ipconfig /flushdns

That should do it.

Doesn't work. Internet also down on mobile devices unless you specify a working DNS...

Hi,

I have been upgraded to a 2mb line from 1mb. Browsing etc is fine. My problem is that last weekend my torrents were running at full speed on the 1mb line and this weekend my speeds for torrents are about 50kB/s during the day. It only speeds up late at night. How is this possible? I wanted to switch to Telkom because I have friends in this area that get full speeds on torrents even during work hours. When I phoned to cancel the consultant guaranteed that I would get the same speeds as the Telkom guys (if not better). Now I am on a 2mb line and my torrents are running as if I have 512kb line. Please let me know how this can be rectified? What's the point of having internet if I can only run downloads while I am sleeping?

Called MWEB, guy barely even knew what seacom was nevermind the status of it.

is it normal that the users know there is an issue before the provider does?, so once again, international is down.
