I would just like to know, does the up and running in 15 minutes or less rule only apply to office hours?

Do you mean the opening up of a data only account with us ?

Yes, thats the one. I applied for a new account (4Mb Uncapped) 45 minutes ago and it said the details would be sms'd shortly, however have received nothing and the user name is not active.

Whatayaknow... up and running without problems tonight. Guess whatever gremlins were lurking have gone elsewhere. Thanks for the help.
 
Mweb uncapped is slow today. When will the Seacom issues be sorted?....:(

Please note that the Seacom outage has been resolved. Also note that we advise all client to ensure that they reboot their routers after an outage. This needs to be done for at least 2 to 5 minutes to ensure that you reconnect with a new IP.

Did not get affected by it and my downloads were going like 250 kb instead of 128 so it was more of a blessing :D
 
I have no idea why I'm paying R764.53/month for 0.35Mbps.

Good Morning SSung, your line seems to be syncing at 512 and your attenuation is extremely high 61 dB. This will affect your experience on our network. I will attempt to sync your line at 1mb and see what the line readings are like.

I tried to sync your line at speed at 1mb and I cannot do so at the moment. I have logged a line fault in the interim.

I can see that you guys are now allowed to take part in the 40mb adsl trial? I have tried phoning, but apparently they cant hear me :P my aunt would like to take part? is it possible for me to pm u with information on her account?

Good morning all,

I just purchased an Huawei HG532c ADSL wifi router after my Billion Router was fried by the power outage due to a lightning strike.

I am now stuggling to setup our MWEB ADSL connection on the router as I do not know where to enter the Username and Password for the connection.

We do not have seperate connections to different ISP's and therefore want the Router to connect automatically as the Billion Router did.

Can anyone assist?
