Hi EtTA

Please send me an actual download speed from HTTP and a speed test result.

Your tracert to MWEB is excellent, wish mine was so good :-)

Please keep in mind we have never guaranteed torrent speeds and have been transparent about it on the forums for some time now.

I have no idea why it's so good :-) I think I might be very close to an exchange, if that could even affect it.

Here is my speedtest result - http://www.speedtest.net/result/2258244742.png (seems fine?)

And here is a download from filehippo.com using IE:

Hi Mweb Guy

I'd be greatly appreciative if you could have a look at my account. I've been getting 100-+ms pings (used to get around 10ms), and 10 - 40kb/s download speeds for the past few months. I have a 1mb uncapped Mweb account on a 2mb line. Also, if this is caused by exchange congestion, would upgrading to a 2mb account have any impact on my pings?

News Server still borked for me. Just did GW2 dragon event (Tequatl) and it was a complete lagfest (40 second long instant casts). Jormag was ok-ish with the usual 2 to 3 second lag. Shatterer was pretty bad as well. Latency sitting at about 400ms for those events.

News servers crawling at 80kb/s.
Not cool mweb, not cool.

It's 9:12 pm, come on, seriously?
I remember the days when we got full speeds after 7.

Not impressed :( Last Friday (see my previous posts here) and today! Last weekend my line was perfect! I'm starting to believe that MWEB is really shaping the hell out of us during the weekdays.

Frequent Disconnects Lately ... Speeds seems down..

Please keep in mind we have never guaranteed torrent speeds and have been transparent about it on the forums for some time now.

Uhm.... you DO know there is a rather big difference between not being able to garuntee speed and not being able to garuntee connection right? Tracker timeouts are NOT slower speeds they are complete and utter lack of anything even resembling speed.

Just thought i'd mention it.

1 Mbps Mweb news server running at 40-45 KB/s Telkom local 101 KB/s, don't mind if its normal shaping, or should I get higher speeds at this time of the day?

Ok there is def something odd going on, when I switch to uncached content I get this:

[22:15:45] Level: ERROR SERVER=news.mweb.co.za, MSG=Server: news.mweb.co.za SendCommand - Error: Response: 436 [GROUP] not available temporarily

News servers slow for me also. Only managing 40% of the speed I normally get.
Maybe the 40Mbps trial users is keeping the news server busy :)
