This is odd - My experience is quite the opposite.
Good Day Valis, please inbox me your MWEB account username and tracers to local and international websites illustrating the type of latency that you have been experiencing browsing. I will then do my utmost to assist you.
Hi
Our gaming team managed to replicate the problem earlier and since then it has been resolved.
It seems there were quite a few people having the same problem as they were running a patch on the server at the time.
It should be back to normal now, please let me know if you still having a trouble with it.
@CPTBoy....I know all of this already. I was instrumental is setting up backbones (blah blah blah)
Hi Mweb.
I spoke to someone at my house this afternoon and got them to test connecting to D3. It worked.
I'm finally done with work, chilling at home now, and excited to connect to D3. And lo and behold, getting the same issue again. Can't connect to D3 EU realm.
Any thing I need to do from my side? Or anything you guys could do to assist please?
I know was just putting it out there.
bradlesliect, I must say, if you're more interested in just harrassing the MWEB technicians than in trying to have your problem actually resolved and investigated, then please rather just don't post here at all?
From what it looks to me, they have been very reasonable and patient in offering to investigate the problem at your exchange, while OTOH you just refuse to even give them your details so they can investigate. What you are effectively doing is just wasting their time (and others who are reading this forum for useful information) ... they seem to be here making what looks to me to be a reasonable good faith effort to help fix any network issues in a fair way, for individual customers and for the network as a whole, and if they have to spend half their time deflecting pointless bashing from you, then that is time they can't spend helping others with legitimate complaints. If being on this forum becomes a waste of time for them, they may choose to rather not offer this contact point. (*Edit* I do believe that you probably had a problem at your exchange, but it is by no means clear that it was necessarily MWEB's fault, or that they're shaping torrents to total death etc., and I don't think anyone else is interested in reading 100 posts about your impressive networking credentials. Please, for the sake of the rest of us, just keep quiet and give the MWEB guys your details, and if they still can't resolve the problem after a fair shot at it, then come whine about it.)
Hey
I have a 1mb line but my speed is really slow. Did a speed test and got the results:
Download: 0.65Mb/s
Upload: 0.42Mb/s
Link for results: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2277498811.png
Is there any reason why its so slow or how to improve it?
Bushknife
Strange that Bushknife, Grimster and myself have more or less the same speeds... 1mb lines and 2 mb lines from Telkom.
I'm from Durban and not sure where you guys are from.
I've been having a strange issue with online gaming:
During the week, after 17h00, I try log on to certain games and it just wont connect. After a router restart, and ipconfig /flushdns on my PC all is well, until the next day, sometime after 17h00. Weekends I dont recall having an issue. This started around 2 weeks ago, but now I'm getting annoyed having to do the process every night. Thoughts?
