That is a bit weird, I will get our third party team to get some more information from Telkom
 
Crazy problems last night, at some point my DS was syncing @ 600, instead of 6000, and I was unable to connect to MWEB for most of the evening.

Phoned Telkom today and had my line dropped down in sync speed a bit, and all is well.

Weird that it was working fine for two weeks, and then went to hell in a handbasket.

Not relevant to MWEB, not even sure why I am posting this...
 
I am having problems uploading an attachment to my Google Drive and Gmail--(9MB size zip file)--bombing out each time I try attaching or uploading. get "Attachment failed. Retry, Remove or Cancel" error.

Any one else have this issue...before I escalate a query to MWEB?
Central Durban-Overport Exchange.

Internet also very slow. Is there work maintenance planned for this weekend--I have been away only got back today, so may have missed announcements, etc.:confused:

I see that on http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/forumdisplay.php/185-Telkom-SA-ADSL-Network-Notifications/page2 there is a durban north fault reported. not sure if it may affect you.

This happens to me when I'm using firefox. Try switching to Google Chrome. No hassles so far.
 
okay..thanks I will be patient. May be affecting us in Central, not sure. Managed to upload, but very slow (like 2.9 k speed)...so not so anxious now. Will check a bit later in the day.

Thanks I use Google Chrome for Google services all the time. Never had issues, hence my concern regarding slow speeds and tech issues on network side. But thanks for the pointer.
 
Just me or is MWEB international broken again? Local seems fine, but international is useless. Anyone else?
 
Yes mine is also shoddy. Ever since a severe thunder storm a couple of weeks back my internet has been terribly unreliable. Prior to that it was absolutely perfect, In 6 months my internet never went down, and not once was my latency to London above 210ms.
