My cancellation confirmation came through on 4 February. But I see there is now an Invoice for March on my statement. The way I understood you this was not supposed to happen?

I have just finished investigating this and I can safely say that your account is scheduled for cancellation at the end of this month and you will not be charged for March.

Mwebguy. Not cool. Im quite pissed with you guys. At the beginning of January i sent in my cancellation request for my bandwidth and ADSL line rental. I received an email confirming that come Jan 31st, both would be cancelled.
I tried moving my telkom line across to my new place, but telkom said the adsl line rental was still active. complained here to you, got a call later from one of your people giving me a reference number stating the cancellation was done.
That was a lie. According to telkom, the ADSL line cancellation request was only put through on the 5th of February, the day of my complaint to you.
WTF. Now i have to wait because YOUR people did not do their jobs.
You will never see my business again.
 
Um, can't access any sites hosted at IS?

Also internet is very very slow. Richmond KZN.

I anyone else have problems?

We are not experiencing any trouble in your area at this point.

Provide me with a trace route to one of the sites that you are not able to access

Were you downloading at the time you did the test?

Yup, Stopped all Torrents and connecting to Home PC via LogMeIn ... result:

Good Afternoon, please verify if you paused your downloads when you completed the speed tests?
 
Sheesh, I'm glad I'm not you! I would miss my Google hangouts too much :D You'll have to log a fault with MWEB... Could be a congested exchange.

Have done, given up... MWEB All Inclusive, MWEB deals with Telkom atleast it stays up and connected most of the time.
Usually just Port Re Create etc...

Yup all Downloads Paused with these tests..
Just a Connection via LogMeIn from Work.

When you pause downloads, they can still impact on the results you receive on your speed tests. The downloads can still be running in the back ground, even though you have paused them.

Everything stopped except remote connection.
Still the same...

Download Speed: 826 kbps (103.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 385 kbps (48.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: -1 ms

I never stopped my downloads when doing a speed test. :o

When the result is good, I go ahead and post the result(s).

When bad, I stop everything that's downloading and retry the test.

So far I'm quite happy with the line speed etc.
