Yeah right disruptions should be minimal. Can't play Planetside 2. Game logs in and can run around, but it's not playable. Gaming is supposed to be high priority.

SEACOM experienced a multiple terrestrial outage on both Egypt routes at 11:59 GMT. Repair teams have been mobilized. ETR will be published shortly. This is affecting our Eurpoean routes.

Updates will follow in 30 minutes.

well the internet is really crawling today. international is more or less non existant. and not only on mweb. my cybersmart and gconnect accounts are even slower. there must be some serious fault somewhere.

The alternate capacity that everyone is rerouted to is much less than the normal capacity so system becomes overloaded because there's too many people trying to use international.

Advice from our service provider in Egypt is that ETR is 4 hours from now. The location of the first repair site has been identified 15 km outside of Alexandra and repair teams are enroute.
