MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 2

You seemed to have one happy customer left, me... And after defending you guys for the last couple of days I am now incredibly irritated. Was busy trying to stream the Sharks Stormers game via supersport.com and it was completely unwatchable. Not being able to stream 240p from a local site through a 1 meg line is frankly pathetic, Get your **** together Mweb or you will be losing another customer.
 
Watching youtube vids are impossible. I got this result running a speedtest through Mweb's speedtest. I did make sure that there were no applications using any bandwidth during the speedtest.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 467 kbps (58.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 409 kbps (51.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

I'm on a 1mb uncapped account

Are you only having this issue with streaming? How is your general browsing experience?

Browsing seems ok, torrents are good to go but YouTube and streaming completely stuffed....

EDIT:- Ping 36, D/L 0.41, U/L 0.41

YouTube is useless the last two hours, kinda gave up. 2mbps premium uncapped sitting idle....
 
Is anything being done about Youtube and the other issues listed here? I have a 4meg premium account and friends have better experience with 1 meg accounts on other ISPs. I have been with Mweb for 3 years and its been great until now. I mean seriously, I get home, its 1am and still cant stream a 3 minute video without refreshing 5 times and I'm not even exaggerating. So Mweb wants us to continue paying the same monthly subscription for less?

We are looking into the Youtube experience of some of our customers and will provide feedback once done. Please provide me with your MWEB account details as it might just be something else on your account. Not all our customers are experiencing the same as you with Youtube.

Why can't I even stream a 240p video on youtube without buffering? I can clearly see that less than halve my 1mbps lines' bandwidth is being used.

Internet in this country is a joke.

Hi Reaver.ZA

We are looking into the Youtube experience of some of our customers and will provide feedback once done. Not all our customers are experiencing the same as you with Youtube. I have refreshed your MWEB account. Please allow for 30min to pass then test again.
 
Even browsing is slow today, it was fine yesterday, I don't see any network issues in Cape Town in the notices, unless Telkom is messing with our exchange, Mweb seems unstable, works great one day then the next it's almost dead, currently getting a combined speed of between 20 - 55kb/s on torrents on a 4Mbps premium account.
 
changed my dns to Google's DNS Servers, working. Not an MWEB issue!

I will be able to assist with your browsing query, with regards to torrents we have been very clear that torrent speeds are not guaranteed.
Please PM me your MWEB account details.
 
Youtube, Twitch unusable at the moment, constant buffering. 1MB line.
