Currently anything happening in terms of line issues?

Speed tests are perfectly fine, but world of warcraft latency of 1800 MS is just not fun...

I have given up on that and made peace with the fact that I cant game before 17:00 - 17:30 Mon - Thu. Fridays, public holidays and weekends it's fine.

And 99.9% of subscribers can game, some of the best latency in SA in fact.

Methinks it's your specific game that's the problem. Use a free GB capped account for it then.
 
I asked two other questions.

Yes. I find that trying things one after another works better than all at one time. It is probably a Telkom fault as my modem is synching at less than 2mbps currently. Supposed to be at 4mbps.

Sounds like it. Although latency seems normal, it is more than likely a Telkom fault.
 
Also been strugling with speeds sins my line has been working. Which has been since tuesday. 4mbps line synced on 1.7mbps originally, down to 1mbps now. Speeds test shows my speed at 0.23mbps. Fault has been logged with telkom but allas I still cant use the internet

Keep following up and escalating with Telkom.

I checked your account on my side and I see our team is currently looking into this fault.
It seems the issue is that the line is not syncing at the correct speed which they are trying to get resolved.
As soon as they have an update or confirmation that it has been resolved, they will be in touch. :)

We'll have to see how long this takes to get fixed. Mwebs sorting out Telkom issues is not the fastest way to do it. Steam downloads stuck at 29.4kbps. So hopefully soon I have something I can use

Just checked again and on my router my bandwidth (up/down) is nou at the amazing speed of 511/803
