I would like to change my uncapped 2M to capped 150Mb special for R149 / 200Mb for R200.
I have some questions as follow,
1) I have line with uncapped a/c @ R339 pm, so how much it will be if I take 150Mb/200Mb including line?
2) will my account be throttled to die as same as uncapped a/c?
3) what is "night" hour? from when? eg 20:00 to 08:00?
4) if I don't want to buy the "top up" (it is too expensive), can I buy one more extra a/c cap.? (eg I paid R149 more for the other 75Gb + 75Gb cap)
5) for unused data, will it roll over to next month?
6) can I have a new router when I want to sign up for next 6 months (as your ad. said contract for 6 months)? Or I need to cancel the a/c currently I have and then sign the new one?

Hi DreamKing, our Rand a Gig capped package promotion is for new customers only. Please refer to my answers to your questions below.
1. Please PM me your contact number and I'll get someone to call you tomorrow to chat about your options;
2. Capped packages don't have throttling and thresholds;
3. Night time data period is 00:00 to 06:00 daily;
4. You can have more than one package added to your account, yes;
5. Unused data doesn't roll over to the following month;
6. Best to confirm with Sales when they call you.
oops. so i must become NOT to be your customer before I can have the deal. so I must cancel my a/c first, right?

I am sitting in more or less the same position as you. I wanted to change my uncapped 10mb/s account to an 300GB/month uncapped. Go to MWEB's ADSL page at "http://www.mweb.co.za/internet-connection/adsl/view-all-adsl-packages.aspx#capped-adsl"and it says R599/month, nothing about new customers only. Phone them and they tell me that this is for new customers only and I will have to pay R999/month for the same deal. I have been customer at MWEB for many years and was always happy with their service but asking me to pay an extra 66% or R4800 per year just because I am an existing customer really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If my loyalty to MWEB counts for so little I guess it is time to be loyal to somebody else.
