MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

It appears you are EXACTLY the type of customer MWeb is counting on to survive!

You mean the kind that's old enough to pay for his own internet connection? Yeah, there isn't much of a market in catering to 16 year olds who have their mums pay for their internet connections, so you're completely right :)

Boet, assumption is the Mother of All F-ups.

By the looks of your joined date and your number of posts it also appears as if YOU are the empty drum making the most noise ...

Now go on, BEAT IT! I don't have the energy anymore to play with kids.

Well, it's in part thanks to you spammers that I've decided to sign up with Mweb - so your campaign of spam and abuse has had the opposite of your intended effect :)
ROFLMFAO :D:wtf::rolleyes::D:sick: Too cool for mainstream hipster FAIL.

On the bright side you'll get some hands on experience on what throttling actually is, but I don't expect you to learn anything from it. It will also keep you out of this thread while you wait a week to browse again.

MWEB should use their brains, why would normal users buy heavy lines if not for downloading and streaming.

Erm ... excuse me .... The fact that I pay my own?? Assume much??? :wtf:

You are right - you deserve MWEB. :D:D:D I am sure as the ''old'' one you will enjoy it.

Back in the day a 56k dial up was for email and light internet browsing.... I don't think mweb realized their customer base moved on.

Why don't they just call it what it is? A soft capped adsl product - it functions like uncapped but once you reach a certain threshold, mweb will resort to name calling "abusers", and then throttle the cr@p out of your line. They will also make strong reference to an archaic tablet (aka AUP) brought down from mountains by their CEO.

LOL True .. I was with Tiscali in the day with dial up. And I agree with you, things have moved on. We shop, bank, communicate, study, watch tv, mail and control our businesses online. And again I agree, MWEB has REGRESSED while the world has progressed.

Eish, 3rd day of issues now ..... that's just about my threshold

Tracerts are normal as usual, they don't show the packet loss I'm getting with one account and not the other .....

Oh, I must admit that i do come back once in a while to check this thread. I'm surprised its alive. But today, it was worth it just to see your posts. Just precious.
MW Call Centre: " Laddy NuZa, I see we have an ID 10T incident. Your call is logged. Ref #: PU55YW1PD. We will throttle you as soon as we can booitjie. You just hold it in your hand in the meantime."

I'm not a MWEB customer, but going to follow your posts in this thread with great interest.

LOL Isn't he just so entertaining. It's such a shame MWEB is down and out at the moment. Someone needs to fire that CEO and get someone that can rescue MWEB'S reputation ASAP. The ads are just not helping anymore
