MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

@supafly1 - PM me your contact details so that I can arrange for our team to contact you.

Got some real friendly (I use this term extremely loosely ) telemarketers calling me up at work trying to punt the Mweb uncapped package which I just cancelled. A coincidence I hope?

Can MwebGuy confirm that they use telemarketers?

Hi Ulver

When was this called made to you? You mentioned work, I don't want to assume that it was during the day, as I'm still at work

Was about 10-11 ish this morning. On our landline, They seemed more interested in punting your mobile deals then your adsl to be fair.

Has something changed on the news server or is it down, it's now all of a sudden telling me it requires a username and password.

I've been wanting to cancel my mweb uncapped account since last week Wednesday. What a mission.

You can't just login and press a cancel button like every other ISP i've been with.
After being able to find nothing about cancelling anywhere on the website I emailed billing and sales to ask how I go about cancelling. They forwarded my email to [email protected] last Thursday morning, but it seems the cancellations department are either so busy processing thousands of cancellations that they haven't gotten around to replying to me yet or they are hoping that if they ignore me I will just forget and stay a customer forever.

MWEB Guys ... Can you investigate or point me in the correct direction?

My web page loading times are ridiculous, this does coincide with Telkom automatically bumping my line sync speeds from 4mb to 6mb. I suspect the noise ratios for the higher speeds are my issue. Allthough I have run Pingtest & speedtest quite successfuly.

Hi roberth

Please provide me with the email address you sent from and the billing & sales email address sent to.

Hi roberth

I found the cancellation form in the signature of somebody on the forum and sent that through just now and have since received an email confirming receipt.
My mweb email address is boogalum2@ mweb.co.za but now that they have confirmed receipt of the form you probably don't have to do anything. Thanks

Some guys upgraded to 4Mbps and 10Mbps are reporting their Mweb ISP speed have also doubled. can you confirm this or are they smoking something?
