MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

I've just been throttled pretty severely (unless something else is involved which I doubt) on the 4MB premium account for using 220GB for the month of November of which I'd estimate not more than 5GB has gone to "unattended bulk downloads" and the rest has gone to streaming: that is, I've watched all of it. I thought that throttling only applies to users who "[Download] every bit of content [they] can find when [they] probably have no intention of watching even half of it".

EDIT: Everything seems fine now and my speeds are back up to normal so it seems like it must have been something else. Thanks to MWEBGuy for the quick response though.

Good Day, the threshold for the 4MB premium product is definitely higher than 220GB.

Please have a look at the usage over the last 30days.

I'm subscribed to the old 2mbps R369 p/m option, but my account still reflects this old setting. The new option should be 4mbps at R239 p/m which is an awesome saving considering the speed increase on top of that.

Can you give us an indication when the account and actual line speed will kick in? Or do I need to reset the router?

The Telkom line upgrades will happen from November 2013 to February 2014.

You could provide me your account details via inbox messaging and I will verify what your current line speeds are.

If your line is syncing at 4MB, I will advise you on the request to move to the 4MB standard package ;)
 
I am currently on a 2Mbps premium uncapped, I am considering changing to a 6Mbps standard uncapped account but I am concerned about the throttling on the standard account. The most I have previously used in a month was 200GB, but my average is about 120GB. Would I get throttled on the 6Mbps with this kind of usage?

Hey Max, the thresholds on the 6MB standard product is approximately 150GB

I want to upgrade to the 6 meg Premuim product, I went into the my account section and attempted to upgrade. It told me that this offer is not for existing customers.

It seems up and down for me illiterate.

I have a 4MB premium uncapped account (Telkom line capable of 10mb now apparently).

And the general speed seems to be slowing down for me. I am going to monitor it tonight again maybe let MWEB guy know since i don't know if it is on my end or not but very suspicious with all these upgrades going on.
