MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

Ok. What are the respective thresholds and what happens when you reach them?
I was told that 'Standard' is 70GB while 'Premium' is 200GB.

Just last week I downgraded from 2Mbps UC Premium to 4Mbps UC Standard. I now have a service that delivers at <2Mbps (via SpeedTest)

I just downgraded from 4mbps Premium to 4mbps Standard. What is the difference between the two?
Hi

Aside from the thresholds, they are the same.

Oh really? Standard is now gaming friendly? You yourself said standard is a browsing and email package...

:EDIT

here we go

Hi GaskooN

The difference between the Standard Uncapped and Premium Uncapped packages are the thresholds limits.

The Premium Uncapped packages has a higher limit compared to the Standard Uncapped. The Standard packages are not suited for the gamers, downloaders, etc.

The thresholds for the standard 4Mb product is 110Gb and the thresholds for the premium 4Mb product is 400gb

Right, let me try this again for the 3rd time, what dafuq happens when you get the threshold?

It means if you hit those thresholds in a 30 day rolling window then you will be throttled.

I'll see how it goes. I have been with them since they started uncapped and I have always been happy. They won't faq around with me if they know whats good for them.

The degradation of services will only happen after you crossed the approximate line.

This line can change at anytime as mweb won't commit to a definite number to protect their interests. Normally this is after 30 days having done an approximate usage. However when you have crossed it, it can last anything from "2" days up to "many" days. During this time, looking at replies here, the service can be anything they see as usable. Usually its so bad you will have a hard time just opening facebook.

If it is that bad then 1) I'll be sure to flame Mweb and 2) I'll go back to premium or find another ISP.
