MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

Hi Jammio, the reason for the premium customers not being auto upgraded is that there will be a cost implication for the customers, therefore customers would need to notify us of they wish to upgrade.

So there is no cost implication for the standard users being upgraded to 10 meg but as a premium user I've got to take a price hike to get the same upgrade?

You made a good move. I agree Mweb is at the bottom now unfortunately. Hope the new appointed CEO rescues the company for the sake of the users on there network. It won't bring me back to Mweb that's for sure, nothing will!

The pricing for our 10Mb adsl premium package data only is R999
And the 10Mb all inclusive package is R1359

I think it is part of their strategy... they picked up a lot of users being the first to market and by letting the high end users get annoyed and bugger off it sort of solves their problem and make the product more profitable.

The MWEB Fb page has become a real source of entertainment, (Thanks Derek H). ;)

Found this little dialogue between MWEB and its subscribers this morning .....

funny mweb.PNG

Made me think of a Nazi, cruising into block A at Auschwitz, and asking if the prisoners will be....
a. Having a picnic
b. Taking out life insurance
c. Going on vacation
d. All of the above .....
:D

LOL - Thanks MWEB. (and I mean in sincerely).

You can only pick one. I see they have a spelling mistake as well, H says all of the above, but the correct spelling is throttled.

This is so excellent. Thanks Textile Guy. Can't even choose one of these, the network is not usable

I honestly commend MWEB guy though, always helpful, and usually sorts out my issues really quick!

MWEB itself though... :erm:

Evening andeshan, thanks for the vote of confidence ;)

Is there anything I can assist you with?

Not really,

I have had an issue with my line dropping ever since i have been on the 4mb package and this has been since it came out, i have changed routers, cables and MWEB keeps checking with no resolve

Also, i want to move to the 10mb package (if my exchange supports it) as MWEB/Telkom is doing upgrades if i'm not mistaken, but I'm afraid things will get worse stability wise.

If your line is not stable on 4MB, it may be worse at 10MB.

Provide me YOur account details via private message, I would like to test your line and check the history on this query

Mr Mweb,

I've recently upgraded to a 4mb premium account. Yet my speeds are poor? can you please look into this?

Also, I was contact and offered your 4mb standard account. Why is this?

Regards,
