I suggest slow down a bit, won't want to tell you its fine, don't, then you do get throttled. Bear in mind, the threshold limit is approximately 70GB in the 30 day rolling window period.

Hi aktor

The threshold for the 10Mb Standard package is in the region of 250GB in the 30 day rolling window period.
 
Hi mweb guy, i upgraded my package to the 2mb premium account, had a 1mb premium before, what's the approximate threshold on these accounts?

The approx threshold limit on the 2Mb Premium package is in the region of 200GB in the 30 day rolling window period. The 1Mb is in the region of 100GB in the 30 day rolling window period.

Hey, would like you to answer some of my questions. Is Mr. Hershaw really unpopular in your offices? What are odds of Hershaw packing up his stuff and leaving MWEB with his throttling policy paper stuffed in his mouth? Will MWEB's end of financial year report be made available to the public next month? Where can I find this?
 
I see the persistent trolls haven't given up yet.

For what it's worth, I'm still very happy with my 2Mbps Mweb account. It's roughly 16 times as fast as the so-called "2Mbps" Afrihost account I came from, and international speeds are a lot better than I experienced with Plugg. All in all Mweb is the best South African ADSL ISP I've experienced so far.
 
Hi, I tested Mweb last week with a 4mb uncapped premium account and all seemed to go well. I will probably get a 6mb uncapped premium account, but before I take the plunge I'd like some help from existing clients.

When I did speeds tests last week, I consistently received Latency 22ms, DL 5mb and UL 0.77mb. Are these tests something that I can expect consistently? Also, is statement that throttling on the 6mb uncapped premium will only occur after 600gb accurate?
 
Mwebguy can you do a port reset for me? Ive been having issues with watching streams on my line and its not due to ISP.

Morning, the threshold on the 6MB premium package is approximately 600GB (this excludes upload data).
 
Upgraded to FON and 4MBPS Uncapped Standard R449 according to sales guy limit is around 110GB (STD) before throttling is that just downloads and what will it be throttled down to ?
