Can the free range extender work with a TP Link router?
Hi MWEBGuy
This morning I'm having trouble with my ADSL. It seems to be a DNS problem (I can connect to sites using their ip).
My router (on DHCP) gives the DNS as 197.84.84.84, which doesn't match anything I have been able to find online.
Lastly I can VPN into the office and then get on the internet (though it is painfully slow in the daytime). The office uses IS, suggesting that the DNS problem is on your side.
Is this a known MWEB issue?

I have a similar issue , tried different routers but it persists. I have to manually set the dns to 8.8.8.8
Anything wrong with MWEB lately? My account says untrottled, but:

http://www.dubbedonline.net is anyone on Mweb able to view that site? Mine is Unable To Connect and I have to use Google cache to view stuff.
Yip, I have not changed any DNS settings. Are you using MWEB's DNS servers?
The IP address is working for me again, where are you based?they not working my side either
And still no joy with the Mweb news servers ...... Is it really going to be ignored because you/your guys connected in Cape Town with no problem?
Try Usenetbucket guys. Cheap cheap.
