Dota and CSGO is about the same for most Mweb users. My one friend and I are getting random disconnects (Mostly time outs for 5 seconds about every 5-10 mins) from local servers. It has become seriously annoying. I've played with someone today who kept dcing too, said it has been occurring since he moved to Mweb. For the past week, I've (and other mweb users) been playing with 200+ ping at peak times. Couple this with really shaped HTTP ports during the day, I'd say Mweb is having some serious IPC problems and are way to scared to admit it.

I would agree that it is game issue if even managed to connect to the game. But my connection gets to London and then times out, thus my connection request never even reaches the gaming server, thus it must be a network issue. BTW Mweb guy, all online games are web based.

Hi MWEB Guy,

I'm just going to throw my 2 cents in.

Mweb is constantly blaming the games that everything on mweb's side is fine etc, ive had my problems and ive just gotten over it and started plans to move to another ISP as the constant excuses and shifting the blame is going abit far.

Literally spamming people every 30 seconds with offline/online in world of warcraft, unable to login to games using the battle.net app, weird lag spikes around the same time every night. i know you asked for tracerts etc. But the fact is, you changed something that has started affecting A LOT of games in the last month. revert it. happy customers.

I've contacted blizzard regarding all my issues, they all tell me everything appears correct and i must check my internet connection. i change to an afrihost connection and fancy that, no problems. who would of guessed.

So all im saying is, Something happened with you guys regarding gaming around a month, maybe 2 months ago. Thats the problem. Not the games themselves.

That ^^^^^^, 100000% That. Just very funny that over weekends when there is hardly any shaping, I can connect to my game at will. Of late, it is impossible during the week. Not even at 22h00 last night could I connect. I tried at 05h20 this morning and manged to get in without any issues. But who can play that time of day during the week.

Something HAS changed, but MWEB will forever deny it. Other ISP trial accounts connect at will.
 
I used that report tool, and not sure if it was cause a random time between the 2 accounts but on MWEB it said 10% packet loss and AH 0%
 
Just signed up for a 4mbps premium uncapped account yesterday and got my speed upgrade today. Atm youtube, twitch and any downloads are running at <2mbps sigh. I have yet to see my account run at 4mbps.
 
MWEB Guy, spoke to Robin today. Seems slow Apple downloads has been resolved. I've noticed that they're running better. Anyone else?

Just FIY, I tried this morning at 04:20 again, which is outside the shaping window, and I managed to connect no problem.

Definitely not my line. It ran max speed this morning at 1am and it will again tonight - When port shaping ends. So for the 5th time, I'm going to ask why is ftp getting shaped if your network is totally 100% perfect? Or do you guys just shape for the lols?

I'd suggest additional troubleshooting as that'll lead us to the cause for your issue. Please perform extended ping tests and traceroutes to bbc.co.uk and mweb.co.za and share the results with me.
