We experienced a severe international outage. Both undersea cables were offline and engineers attended to the fault.

Just wanted to query something with you guys; even before this whole outage the max speed I get on my 6mps Premium account is just over 500 kb/s. I have not been shaped or anything like that. I just wanted to know if this is normal? If not can you please provide a course of action I can take to improve my connection speed. Below are tests with the diagtool:

Hi there! I currently play a game on Steam called Trove. Prior to this afternoon's Seacom's problem I was able to log onto their servers and play with relative ease. I'm now trying to log into the game and am unable to do so. I've just pinged the game and done a tracert with horrible results.

Any help would would greatly be appreciated!

Good Morning Cicci123, your actual speeds you are obtaining are good.

Getting around 500KB/s is really not bad for an actual transfer rate.

Edit: A lovely router reset solved the problem. Now it's back to normal speed.

Quick question if someone can give feedback please.

I'm trying to send an attachment (photo 567KB) and the email keeps on failing with error that the doctor's mailbox is full.

He assured me that is not, but that he has struggled with receiving emails from yesterday, with delays of several hours.

Any general issues that you guys are aware of?

I'm not an MWeb customer nor have I followed this thread recently.
