Anyone know how if possible I can check if ADSL is available in an area or preferably street? I have recently put in an offer to buy a house and the people living there are elderly and have no Telkom line even. Didn't ask if they know if ADSL is available there.

If so, we can perhaps check it that way.

any issues reported on DNS in CPT / stellenbosch ?

I started having issues with DNS probe errors, restarted router, it worked for a while and since 20:30 my internet was down, could not browse or ping any website, steam was connecting fine, current router dns settings 197.80.80.80,196.28.20 - interesting that primary dns is pointing to jhb and not cpt.... ??????

nways had to connect afrihost pppoe session to get goolge dns settings and back on uncapped and everything is working now again.

Evening B1G_WH1T3, there is no confirmation of the issue from our network team.

I have however encountered a few clients having a similar experience this evening.

Please let me know if the problem re-occurs.

I seem to be experiencing some sort of connection issue (when I first go to any website, or connect to any game) it seems to struggle to connect sometimes, but once connected (As in, while playing league, once the youtube vid starts loading or once the website starts loading) it is then fine. I don't seem to be experiencing this as much on my other account. Any ideas as it is somewhat annoying at the moment.

I checked your account and can't find any issues but have refreshed it though.

Do you only have the data connectivity issues when gaming?

Hi, anyone having pages not loading and even low data services like Origen or Steam just not opening? My mweb account page says unthrottled and it doesn't even feel like slow, just DNS fails.

Good Evening, are you still encountering the issue at the moment?

If yes, please try and change your username realm on your router interface from @mweb.co.za to @dslmweb.co.za and let me know if that helps.

Please sort out the mail delays on imap.mweb.co.za
It has been a few weeks now of delays on incoming mail of between 8 mins and 45 mins.
Also, question marks about 1% email loss.
Please advise once sorted.

Your emails are also being delayed as Milano? If yes, then please provide the email headers proving the delay and I'll have the relevant team look into it or you can send it directly to [email protected]

Your query to me is more related to mc.mweb.co.za sign in issue. Provide me with the email address you trying to sign in with and I'll gladly look into it for you.
 
Does anyone know if upload bandwidth has been throttled recently? I have a 4Mb Mweb account but my line syncs at 12Mb/1Mb, I would often see my connection burst at around 10Mb and then settle down at about 5Mb, with upload sitting at 0.93Kbps (speedtest results).

Now when running speedtest I get 4Mb on the dot and 0.43kbps upload max, the slow upload being my concern as now I can't view my IP cams or stream music from my NAS over my VPN connection to work...

If I remember correctly this happened about two months ago and nothing has changed since then.
