MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

I'm in Highveld and my 10mb line is now at around 1mb with pings going as high as 700. Resetting the router multiple times does nothing. This issue started yesterday.

That's exactly what is happening here and the issue also started yesterday for me.

I should be getting speeds of 1.1 MB/s. Instead I'm getting a tenth of that with high pings.
 
Is anyone having issues with high pings and big drops in download speed in Centurion?

On a 20mb Premium MWeb line and definitely something wrong tonight.
Streaming is terrible. Seems to be worse with streams from the USA.
Noticed the internet went all terrible mid-afternoon today.

Looks like it is nationwide though from the other posts.
 
I have a client who uses Mweb and is being billed R239 for a 5GB, 2Mb/s service ADSL bundled fee.

Is this correct, when the Mweb web site offers 150GB + Uncapped Night Time Data from R145pm, plus R160 for a 2Mb/s line?

I just have a 4Mb but I've also noticed a sluggish speeds since last night. From Hermanus.

For a 20mb line hings seem to be sluggish here in Durban, Westville.

Good Day All, please confirm if you are still having trouble with slow speeds or high pings.

At the moment, there are no reported outages pertaining to our network.

When doing several speed tests the ping switches between low and high. And there's a big dip in the speed towards the end of a speed test. In previous steed tests I've done the speed graph was on a fairly constant level right up to the end.

I was having streaming issues earlier and I needed to refresh to get certain sites to load.

Is mweb totally down for anyone else. I am in the edgemead area in Cape Town. My line syncs, but when it tries to connect to mweb the router says concentrator not reachable.

Good Morning, the account is showing that there is no router connection at the moment.

Is your land line telephone in working order?

Whatsapp drops messages. Notification bar shows that's whatsapp is checking for new messages etc.

Engineers cannot give a time frame as to when it will be fixed.

My word,, having the exact same problem. Friends always ask me what is going when I am home messengs sometimes just won't go through,, I have to turn my data on. After a few minutes I can send over the wifi again.
I wonder why this is

I would like to know why MWEB forces users to use their outgoing mail server if they are using mweb as their ISP, bloody annoying.
