Me too. Having serious issues with anything google atm.

Edit: For example, a simple tracer to google gives this.

traceroute www.google.com
traceroute: unknown host www.google.com

Edit2: ping -c 10 www.gmail.com

Hi Guys

Just some feedback on the Guildwars2 DNS query:

I asked our DNS gurus to look at this yesterday and they came back with the feedback that from what they can see the address is not properly defined on the authorative host (i.e. ncsoft's dns servers)

At this point there isn't really anything we can do from our side to resolve this. If the authorative entries were correct then they would propagate correctly onto our servers.

It's possible that ncsoft have been 'tinkering' with this and the address that's resolving via Google is coming from a DNS cache.

What I would suggest is that perhaps one of you who is a registered beta tester raises the issue with ncsoft and asks them if they are aware of the problem and are doing anything to address it.

If they come back with any indication that there is something that we can do on our side to get this working then let me know and I will get our engineers to look at it urgently.

Thanks
Will

Fudge.

I've tried tweeting them about it: https://twitter.com/#!/Ulvenkai/status/195133409612398592

Let's see if they actually investigate it at all.

Thanks for the feedback, Will. Very much appreciated <3

Hi All

I just tested at our test area and google is loading fine on our side. Please can you keep me posted regarding this.

It's fine again. Think it was a quick 10min downtime on Google (local)'s side - I thought it was related to my downloads until someone told me it was down.

There's definitely issues - but it's VERY intermittent at the moment. Up and down like a yo-yo, not all services at once, only certain parts. translate.google.com was down for quite a while just now... There's a couple of threads about this.

Hi guys, just got a heads up on this from our lead network engineer: They are aware of some upstream issues affecting various Google services. It's nothing on our side, but they are monitoring the situation and have been in communication with Google about it.

Will,

Whilst I know, realize, and appreciate it is a Google issue... Seeing that your guys "have been in communication with Google about it" can you perhaps just give an indication as to what the problem seems to be at Google's side?

It looks like they withdrew their routes at CINX as of 13:00....

Any one else getting loads of buffering at 360p? :(

Thanks.

Good Day,

I dont know if this is the correct place to post this, but i am in dire need of an ADSL connection @home.
Can/Will Mweb be able to assist?

Reason why I am asking I had been waiting for telkom for a good couple of weeks at my old residence to come and install a phone line, to no avail.

If i were to sign up with mweb for a 384 uncapped, could they also deal with the telkom line install? (i know they normally only help with the ADSL line bit)
