Lol. It's a download service that tries to bypass (or well that does, actually) shaping rules on a network. I'm not suprised they shape it.
 
I am experiencing 400+ Ping on Diablo III every night with my 384Kbs line... Anyone else having this problem? or is this a problem with the game?

No. My latency tends to be around 250ms-350ms (a couple of lag spikes - 400ms+) every night.

384K line (shaped & uncapped).
 
I thought Google.co.za was locally hosted & cached ?

MWEB .... I have had enough now....

Telkom assures me that my line is fine, and there is no congestion .... MWEB denies anything wrong on your side. I have used two different routers to test my equipment. I keep getting complete time outs...

Only thing I can do is reboot my router to get back online ... WTF is going on??? 3 weeks now its been unstable like this.

BTW I have noticed that when last (like 5 min ago) it happened, my router had lost the Default gateway setting (41.132.60.1), which is weird seeing it automatically retrieves this info on dialup.

I have again called telkom now to recheck my exchange and line. Again they say it is fine... I have had to reconnect 5 times today already :(

Mweb is really really slow today, not downlaoding, but just general browsing and what not. Problem in the Durban exchange or what?

We are not experiencing any trouble in your area.
Send me a trace route to a local and international site.
 
So Will just phoned me.... He will catch up with you to do deeper look at my problems....

but as I explained before, My connection goes for a ball of shyte this happens: (Take note of the Default Gateway)

when the Gateway reappears, connection is good again.... Have you got a set of fixed DNS & Gateway Addresses that I can test with?

Hello

I have a 4meg with mweb, and currently since iv been coming home from work to play online, iv experienced really bad speeds disconnects high ping and browsing is extremely slow.

Steam downloads are also not good tonight. Downloads for about 5 seconds at max speed and then stops for about 15 seconds. Rinse, repeat.

I have seen your message and replied.
 
YouTube pretty much dead for me at the mo... Works fine with a video I watched previously so I'm thinking is cached, then I switch to new video and it bombs. Checked with NetMeter Peaks at +-23kB/s average about 15kB/s.
