Yes I have. I cleared my cookies and temp files, tried a different browser, reset my router, tried logging in to My Account and tried going to myadsl.mweb.co.za, still no luck :wtf: I only applied on Thursday and sent my application forms through on Friday, perhaps it's still too early for me to be able to check my usage?

Hi froot

Please DM me the details you sign in with but not the password.

Excuse my noobyness but is my ping of 185ms to bbc.co.uk good? I play RTS games and ping is fairly important to me. Mweb seem a little more stable than what people say about other providers so... :)

Hi jackshiels

Your ping is fine.

A ping of 185 to that site would not necessarily be a good indication of what your ping in games is going to be. If you play on local servers your ping is going to be much better

Have you tried the steps I provided, EtTA?

No no no.
I'm saying that I get that if I try login with my trial account - it's supposed to do that, because there's no active account on it.
With my working adsl deets it doesn't happen :)

enyone els still have slower speed?
i am at about on 45-59 now,bit better but its still half than it must be (dling from the same site)

Omw I was the biggest Noob of all. For some reason I wasn't logging in with my Mweb email address simply because I haven't registered anywhere with it, so I didn't think it would work. And, for some other weird reason, the email address I did use seemed to log me in when clicking on the big Log In button on the Mweb homepage. This is why I thought I was using the correct address. Just a bit of confusion there. Thanks MWEB guy and excuse my noobness

I refreshed the account, I would suggest getting Telkom to re-creating the port as well. Power down the router for 30 minutes, test and monitor after that.

shaping file hosting downloads

Do mweb shaoe downloads from file hosting sites like filesonic etc

When calling them, mention the speedtest result you are getting and let them know that these are the results you are getting from their speed test application.

Hi MWEB Guy

Thought I would just tell you, speeds have increased to 3456 download!!
