Internet is very slow now. Both local and international. Also tried logging into Afrihost and internet seems to be down.
 
Aaaah, nothing better than 758 ping on Dungeons and Dragons Online .......... my usual is 333, so thanks Mweb.
 
Sheesh, my torrents and general speeds are also super slow, have been for the past 2 days. Running faster upload than download :(

Hopefully it improves soon, I'll give it a couple of days to sort itself out. Normally things get back to normal after a 3-4days max.

Could you please pm me your details I would like to look into this for you.
Also include to which servers you are connecting and which game you are playing.

Hi All

Well the last few days for me was not bad at all, my browsing is good, and my torrent downloads over night is 100%, so not much complaints thus far on my side...
 
Just one little thing that is odd, I have an app on my mac call mach weather, for the last week for some or other reason it does not correct to it weather threads, any one have an idea why ?
 
Getting bad lag with League of legends yet again. My ping is fine but I get lag where everything will stand still and health bars will disappear, and then it will all catch up a couple seconds later.

Hi dasco144,

How is your general browsing experience? Is it only League of Legends that you are experiencing the lag with? Do you get lag with any other game perhaps?

Hey Guys,

I know most of you here have been telling me my exchange is congested, so i came to terms with it, nothing i can do about it..

But maybe someone can explain to me why is it that on the weekends i have NO latency/lag issues but the moment Monday morning comes i'm getting 800+ latency on local sites?

Possible that you live in an area with many offices operate in your area, only sure fire way is to test with another account, fairly easy to sign up for web Africas free gigs to test.

Hi rpdblu,

I think that the guy's have gave you part of the answer.

I do see on your account an open fault and that you'll be receiving a call from our technical specialist between 19h00 & 19h30 this evening.

They have tried calling you today and left a VM.

Should there be any reason for my internet speed (browsing) to drop at 17h00 on the dot everyday... I only download at night now, but browsing slows on the dot at 17h00 everyday.... Don't get me wrong is not that it dies the performance just drops..

Hi TmanSA,

There could be many reasons why. I'm afraid to mention some of them in the thread. Can you, off the top off your head think of anything that changes in your house or around it at 17h00?

Could you also send me tracert and pings to a specific site before 17h00 and after, say around 18h00 for the the next 3 days.

It would help in the investigation.

Have you brought it to the attention of Telkom as they are maintaining your ADSL line?
