Any tool to log the traffic of TOR (The Old Republic) so that we can know of it's listed on the shaper or not? Don't think the GameMaster is playing, unless I'm mistaking ;)

Hi Buffer,

You can check out our website and sign up there are well.

As for the 4MB line, you have to check to see if the exchange can handle a 4MB line. Do you have a landline already? If yes, you can PM it to me and I can check it on our side.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

Thank you Mweb Guy

As mentioned earlier, there are no international issues that we are aware of. Have you tried another browser to see if it still takes long to load international sites? Have you rebooted your router?

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

Hi MWEB Guy

Yeah I rebooted both my router and access point... Also rebooted both macbooks. I have tried using firefox and safari and yet on both it is slow. In the last 40 min or so it became a bit faster but still not as fast as it used to be...

what exchange? U wana explain that to me And no, i have no line yet..i dont want to get a line if i cant get decent speeds since i just want it for the net

In order to get ADSL, Telkom will need to install a line first. We do offer a 7 day trail account so you could test our network in those 7 days and see the speed you get.

It is very difficult to say what speeds you will get as there are various factors that influence the speed of the line as well.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

MWEB Guy?

Sorry about that Prophet, not entirely sure, I will need to follow up with the team to find out if there is a tool in order to log the traffic.

mr mweb, i know i need to have an adsl line. I just do not want to get the 4mb line and get speeds close to 1mb line as i have seen some people complaining in some threads.

Is there not a way to see before actualy finding out before i get telkom to install the line

Unfortunately not Buffer, there isn't a way to see the speeds you will be able to get. We will be able to see if the exchange has 4MB ports available, but we can't see what speed you will get prior to getting the line. Also, bear in mind, the line speed is up to 4MB, therefore you could get line speed below that.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

Hi Buffer,

You'll have to have an existing Telkom ADSL line for our Data 7 day trial account.

MWEB Guy
