Hi Eliphas,

Please advise which sites are slow?

Regards,

MWEB Guy

Most sites really, and skypes back to horrid again. Just gotta wait till that cable/network problem is fixed thats effecting everyone.I don't get why people keep posting their laggy/slow problems expecting a fix when there is still this problem and its only apparantly going to be fixed on the 8th? It makes me think I've been reading all this wrong and that Im not suppose to be going slow >.>!

MWEB posted that it was fixed. One would assume that it means it was fixed :)

However, the site still says International slow. Hope it gets sorted out pronto!

Mweb, just wanted to say thank you for incredible internet, my speeds have been fantastic the bast few weeks, I have had no issues at all, my peak speeds have never been better, so thank you, you guys rock!

Lucky you. You must be speaking to MWEB people who know what they are doing. I guess that's the problem. There is always someone who understands the technical stuff, but it is very difficult to have your query escalated to a representative that knows what they're talking about.

All I can say is pathetic email based support from MWEB.

Sent an email on the 3rd of November saying I'd like to cancel my subscription. Someone replied saying that I need to send the email from my @mweb email address, which I never use. So I send the email with all my info from that email address.
Then the next day I get an email saying that they have forwarded it to the [email protected] email address.

Why not just tell me to send it there, rather than waste a whole day just for them to forward it for me.....

Doesn't make sense....

And it is now the 7th of November already. Still waiting for someone to contact me regarding my cancellation....

I'm just tired of the inconsistent shaping. Was downloading podcasts and a few apps from iTunes the other day. Was going at around 90KBps in work hours. Then after hours, it dropped to 25-30KBps. How does this make any sense? To shape more after hours.....

And I hope they know that I am expecting the cancellation to be from the day that I first contacted them.

Oh and awesome speeds I'm getting now. 10-14KBps...... Pathetic

Am I the only one getting slow international?

Hi timmie23,

I can see why you are frustrated with regards to this the way things were handled. I have your MWEB account details on hand, please can you give me the opportunity to look into this from our side.

Any help to speed along the process would be appreciated. Thanks.

Past few weeks my internet has been dropping almost every day. Its beyond a joke now.
Will be researching into a new ISP now, as MWEB doesn't seem to give a flying fsck.

It's what I've been forced to do. I've been with MWEB about a year now, and didn't want to migrate to another ISP, but the stability issues are just getting to me. So off to someone else it is for me.

Downloading from Fileserve or Filesonic. Lowest speed I've ever hit in the day. Restarted router already, but I'm guessing it is a bigger problem than just that.... :-(

I'm not excusing the speed, but you are aware that those types of sites are shaped in the same way torrents are, iirc?

So, if there's no bandwidth for them, there's no bandwidth.

Speed is at an all time low at the moment. A few minutes ago things were slow but now its so slow that I had to reset my router twice just to get into google. Whatever is wrong is getting worse.

I'm not expecting full line speed. I know it doesn't go at full speed during the day, but when it hits 2KBps then you know something is wrong. This has been happening way to often for me to continue paying for a poor service.
