MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

Abuse say they sent me previous emails, but i never received any, then i received an email say my account would be terminated at midnight. How could i have received the last email and not the first two i don't know.

At least they let me sign up again, although i sat for 3 days without internet....

Yeah I also recieved 0 notifications, h3ll I login to my "account" and it just goes back to mweb home page so I cant even see my billing! >.<

Will@MWEB has said on these forums previously that attempts are also made to call the client (telephonically), in addition to sending them email on their MWEB email address. Just saying.

That is correct, we do notify our customers by sending warning mails and we do try to call them as well.

My Internet connection was cut off (Internet LED - RED) this morning until I rebooted the router (Billion W40). The telephone line is 100% fine. I really don't understand how it happened. It's not the first time it happened. It's been like this since 3 weeks ago.

I will set up a static IP address in order to make this problem go away.
 
Torrents are utterly useless....someone at MWEB really should initiate a loyalty program of some sort. Clients of X or more amount of years get a month's free 1MB unshaped access or somethin.
 
So when can we expect to see some discounts if we give mweb out adsl lines?

Seeing that 289 + 299 for 1mbs is R588 and mweb's all inclusive price is also R588. What intensive is there to give you our adsl lines? mmm

All inclusive price at R500 sounds very very attractive ;)

I've been having the same problem on Mweb for some time now. Line is fine, sync is fine but router loses the gateway until a reboot and some nights/days I have to reboot every 5 minutes for HOURS on end. Incredibly frustrating.

The primary incentive is that MWEB deals with Telk*m directly, meaning you don't have to :)

The primary incentive is that MWEB deals with Telk*m directly, meaning you don't have to :)
But not as you would. Telkom needs special handling and I find many ISP's (incl Mweb) simply don't have the time to persist in sorting out problems that are recurring or tricky to explain.

You dont happen to live in Sinoville do you?

Because they have been working on that bloody exchange for more than a month now. Causing latency spiked and a very congested connection.

They say they are adding DSLAMS and stuff . . .

I do live in Sinoville,any idea when this will be fixed?.Calling telkom and trying a crap load of methods didn't do a thing.

Funny thing is that i had a high speed and a ping of less then 20ms yesterday.

Same thing here, and I'm also in the Sinoville area. Its so annoying. Tried playing a local game of L4D2 a bit earlier and my ping was over 650 :(
