MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

Hi Mweb Guy

I am in centurion and i am also getting pings in the range of 150 ms to 180 ms. Check on the network status page no outages here..
 
Why is MWEB changing its Terms and Conditions from the 1st of March 2011? And why cannot you access the webpage?

@TmanSA - I'm not aware of any issue in the area that would cause your high pings. Please let me know if it persist.

@mika1000 - Could you please PM the url to the web page you are trying to access.

^^ Ditto and I'm also in Centurion (Hennopspark)

Ping is 226 and download speed is something like 0.19 on a 4MB line.
 
Hi Mweb Guy..

I rebooted my router, still high pings then I decided to use the other router, still slow pings.

to Mweb.

My ping is 221 ms
download speed is .028 Mbps
upload speed is 0.63 Mbps....
 
Something not right... first time since i have mweb is my upload speed higher than my download speed lol

I will notify the engineers and ask them to investigate.

Just to confirm, is the problem isolated to high pings only or is download speeds affected as well?

My download speed is currently .28 Mbps and upload is 0.63 Mbps so yeah download speeds are also effected

I'd like to see if it is isolated to one area or if it is widespread.

getting 300 ping to IS gaming servers.

Downloading at 30kb/s on a 4meg line.

EDIT: nm, seemed to be a spike

Any feedback yet, I tested my link just now again, it is a bit better but far from what it should be...

Ping is 150 ms
download speed 2.07 Mbps
upload speed 0.58 Mbps

Don't know what they did, but my ping is down to 19 ms and the speed is back to normal... now the link is a pleasure again... Thanks for ur help..
