Two pc but one is idel 99 % of time .. Why 3 connections ?

Btw y do you have to reauth every now and then to get things going again ??

Hi Angryboots,

Could you please test by turning off the second PC then testing your connection again.
Also the re-auth generally refreshes the account on the network.

Connection is yet again back to normal, Mweb Guy between 7am and 5pm I only experience problems?

To me it is a Shaping problem for DBN PoP customers....
 
Hi MWEB Guy, I think that I also need a reset - ping still over 200 and download speed 0.50 on a 4MB line

Ok can we have some feedback now... ping 213ms download speed 0.65 upload speed 0.64 on a 4MB line really... I missed another webinar cause the streaming does not wanna work again.... when will be sorted out... please guys...

Hi TmanSA,

Thank you for all the details.
I have logged this matter for you now and arranged for a specialist call back.

I have also just checked your line and I can see that you attenuation on your line is very high at 54 db, I would certainly advise having a fault logged on your line as well. As 54 db is most certainly enough to cause problems on with connection.

Thank u Mweb guy...

Telkom is already looking into the attenuation problem... but as we all know they are not the faster ppl on this planet... I would love to know what happens at 5 pm and 7pm at night, cause nothing changes on my side, but them the pings starts going bad, also like earlier today, if you reset the session all is fixed.... So I will ask the specialist when he contacts me...

Alt.binz can't connect either. Have tried another (international) news server which connects fine from SABNZBD and Alt.binz.

Just a heads up and hopefully it's just a Friday thing - local ping is about 10-15 higher than normal and international ping is about 30-40 higher.
