Yeah it seems to just suddenly have an issue with the game at those times, like the link has gone wonky. Nothing else is affected at all, it's strange.

Yep - Embarrasing when you cant even log on the www.mweb.co.za page.

I cant even connect with my mweb accout. Luckly I still have one those free 1gb Afrihost accounts! Is this because of the cape town problems??

Dead in Pietermartizburg & Richmond as well, keep getting

"This site is currently Unavailable Please check back later"

and PPPoE Authentication failed.

Telkom Account is doing the same! only IS accounts are working.....

Our 2 servers in the Cape Town DC were unavailable for about 65 minutes but they are backup now, trying a traceroute to them at one stage resulted in hops via the UK.

Not only am I unable to authenticate or log on the mweb.co.za, but they are not answering their phones either. Tried 0860 112252, as well as 0860 032000. Phone just rings and rings..

Hi Everyone,

Our engineers have isolated the problem and services are returning to normal.

We have however picked up that ADSL authentication was also affected so please do not reset your routers if you are currently connected as you may not be able to reconnect.

Guys, DON'T RESET YOUR ROUTER IF YOUR CONNECTION IS ALIVE (BARELY OR NOT). My router can't re-connect right after restarting it
