Hi Shuyin,
I would advise only resetting the router if you have the username and password at hand.
I upgraded my line to 4MB on Tuesday evening and had great service that evening, however, ever since Wednesday morning I've been getting terrible download speeds, currently sitting at around 60kbps on and HTTP download.
Not ADSL related, but there are problems in the MWEB Cape Town DC again. Around 95% packet loss to our 2 servers hosted there.
Did that was better for a while you know what I noticed If I disconnect and reconnect it is better for an hour or 2 then it slowly gets worse and worse.
Any idea what could do that ?
my streaming is freaking slow and some websites loads way to slow
Same for me. Knew there had to be a catch with those low prices
Starting to regret moving my sites over.
Speeds are all screwy once again.
Good morning Guys, please advise if you are still having problems with packet loss and speed this morning?
I am not sure if this related, but thought I would just ask--I have never had problem with streaming YouTube videos, day or night (and evenwhen I was on 1meg line), but since yesterday, the videos are slow to load and need constant buffer--even clips that are small size and length (<2min). I checked again this morning, and it seems to persist. Please check/test this video out.
I have rebooted the router a couple of times; I am on a 4meg line.
my downloads are only going at about 35KB/s and my browsing speeds is supper slow
ok this is my speedtest.

please don't come and tell me it's my Telkom line cause they just fixed our exchange. I'm getting rather angry at this BS. So just fix it please or i'm moving to another better isp
Thanks for that, can I get the trace routes too.
Regards
MWEB Guy
I should be working there cause i know something they don't
read this ffs http://mybroadband.co.za/news/telecoms/42977-seacom-downtime-woes-continue.html
Seacom have link problem between egypt and france.
Please stop blaming Telkom. I think they have better stuff to do than to help MWEB. At some point of time they will be fed up with MWEB and then MWEB customers will also suffer. They wil stop supporting mweb customers with support even if it's really the line.
Something is definitely up with Mweb is is not just one person
So my Mweb trial is up, great experience overall, very happy and R200 cheaper than my current package. Once I'm free from the shackles I'll be signing up with Mweb.
Thanks
