Ok BF3 can't connect in. You can kill my connection and switch.

I have just deleted your current session, please reboot your router for at least 5min to ensure you reconnect with a new IP. YOu could also configure your router with the incorrect details then the correct details to force a connection with a new IP.

Hey Mweb guy,

You didn't by any chance hear of any issues in Gordon's bay or any updates? we all sitting here with 500+ local pings

Sup guys, also having issue with mweb tonight.

I play dota2(a game on steam) on eu(europe),and it is lagging terribly, but if i browse(internationally/locally) or download it's fine...

EDIT: Im in Newcastle kzn

What is your speeds like in the evening?

This evening I couldn't get more than 5kbs.

I tested again just now and getting 35kbs, so its better but still not perfect.

When I switch over to afrihost it jumps to 100kbs immediately

you will only obtain line speeds with torrents when using a capped or unshaped account.

Good evening, no reported issues in the Gordon's Bay region at the moment and no network outages.

Good evening, do you lag when playing other games on the STEAM servers?

CSS seems fine when im playing on a web africa server. As soon as I try playing dota2 like usual,im now getting intermittent spikes even tho my ping is sitting on 200-300ms. As soon as i try a different ISP account,it works fine and this account i even get higher ping lol,but its working fine. I Know of some other guys who are having issues with mweb on dota2.

:C

After further playing some css,im now getting the spikes on local servers as well now...Lasted 2 mins without lag

Edit:basically i cant game on mweb.

Are you not able to do any gaming using your MWEB connection?

Nope, the spikes get too bad.

Please provide me screenshots illustrating the lag spikes you are encountering. I have also requested our gaming team to test dota2 to see if we can replicate your problem.

It's very hard to show you,as teh ping doesnt spike, the game spikes. Either CSS or Dota2 or any online game.

Please not the game runs 100% with a different ISP account

I requested that we test to see if we can replicate. Your problem seems strange though, normally latency will be reflected in the pings.

I have a similar problem when using said other ISP. There are packet drops in irregular intervals during which it feels like a lag spike, but the reported latency stays the same.
