As mentioned before, there are factors that influence line speed. The table on our website will give you an indication of what the download speeds could be line on the various lines.

Once again, bear in mind there are outside factors that influence the speed of the line.
 
Hi,

I am currently using a 1 mbit uncapped adsl with a certain provider and I am unhappy with their current speeds. If possible please could I have a trial account with mweb to make a comparison. I'm well aware of what speeds I should be getting, my main concern is speeds during normal business(peak) hours. Thanks.

So!
I've had Mweb uncapped for near on 2 weeks now.
At first it was a bit of a rough ride, getting my order finalized and getting MWeb to confirm that, yes, my ADSL line is indeed activated, and then, asking the prodigious MWeb Guy to sort out some mail box issues.
I've also had some page time-outs, not from the ADSL connection, I discovered, but instead from my routers wifi service. That seemed to be better after poking around the wifi channels.

Now, while I opted for the 'special needs' version of our local ADSL offerings(384), I do indeed seem to be getting close to the maximum speeds from my connection is said to be capable off.

Overall, nice going Mweb! :)

What is the email address I should send my support request to, for the transfer of my MySQL db to MSSQL? I was on the phone with them now but they said I should rather email them.

I've already sent the email thanks.
I did specify in the email exactly what I needed (and that the package is currently empty so there's nothing to "lose").

Edit:
Cally did call me, and send an email. Gmail threw said email in the spam bin though :o

How is your browsing and other internet activities?

PM me your error messages you receive regarding the News server and area you in and I'll escalate it.

@froot: you don't have to.
 
Web pages take ages to load at times, after a few refreshes though they seem to come allright...
