MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

Had the trial for past 7 days.

Browsing and http dl are fine - dl latest Ubuntu - (max my 4 meg line ) same as my Telkom account - did not check Youtube

Biggest dis-appointment for me was Torrent and NewsHost. Best Torrent I got was 200K Best NZB dl was 320K - well below Telkom.

Same torrent test was 390K and also NZB.

Sorry MWEBguy but not going to signup for a "best effort" account.

The Internet is so crap right now

MWEB please fix!!?

Can't even load google sometimes, and Telkom is an absolute load of rubbish when they lie to you and say they r coming to fix the issue the next day and then 3 weeks later they still haven't pitched!

When will something actually work around here, and why can't MWEB and Telkom be both on the same equal services, such as MWEB could come out and fix ur line!

I have updated your open escalation and asked our third party team to follow up on this.
 
Were you guys doing any work on the network? When i got home the net was working but a few mins ago i went past my router and saw the internet light red. I reset my router and the light is green again.

Where do you see that page though? I've maxed out the 512kbps upload on my 1Mb with Mweb.

I just logged in to myaccount.mweb.co.za and the page was displayed. Although the next time I logged in it was gone. I don't know. It seems I can also go to higher speeds that 384kbps. I don't think I was supposed to be able to see that page.
 
I have, over the past two days, experienced shockingly abysmal download speeds.

Up until now downloading via http has been a joy with mweb and I have always been happy with the speeds. But since Tuesday or so my downloads have slowed to an average of about 10 KB/s. Usually on my 384 line I get a good, solid average of 30 KB/s.

Has anyone else experienced a similar slowing of speeds for no apparent reason?
