Hi Mweb Guy.

Steam not working and also P2P wont go. Not even making any connections with P2P. This was better on Monday but today it is like it was the whole of last week.

Please do something about this.

I have tested and I am downloading P2P without any trouble.
I also have no reported issues relating to steam.

Yes I understand that YOU don't have any problems. Something is wrong with the way they are shaping my account. Whenever the shaping is active during the day, P2P and Steam are non existent. Then at night when the shaping is less, it comes back again. This has been going on for the past two weeks. Is there nothing you can do about it?

I can safely say that we do not shape individual accounts. The shaping is the same across the board.

hi mweb guy

i've upgraded my account from a 384 uncapped to a 1mb uncapped

at first the line speed was great ~0.9mb download
after the first week it dropped to ~0.3mb (back to my old 384 speeds it seemed)

i phoned mweb and my account was reset and telkom recreated the port as well

however i am having the same issue again

please advise?

Browsing is slow, http download are bad, youtube is slow unless cached, Diablo is unplayable, steam takes forever to update!!!!

youtube is a pain
dl around 45-60 and it usaly 100-115
pages takes long to load :/

On a 1mb uncapped and my download speeds are about half my line speed for the last few weeks.

36ms ping, 548kbs down, 473kbs up.

Dont even try run any P2P stuff like torrents when you want to game. Turn it all off, then log into steam. And I mean totally exit your P2P applicatons, not just stop them - that does not help.
