Still playing with about 310 ...... has been 272 the past few days so while it's still playable, it's noticeable from the 272 :(

Any issues in Durban still ongoing? Latency is over the 300 mark, not serious yet, just curious :)

Hi Mephisto_Helix

There are still issues in the area, please see our Network Status page for updates.

Also, PM me your cell number, I will add you to the notifications list. You will receive an sms when the outage has been resolved.

Geez, they sure like taking their time hey. To think this exchange issue has been going on since October last year when the place got struck by ligthning/blew up. Thanks Mweb Guy.

(think you may already have my cell)

MWEB Guy, I have noticed that for the past few days my browsing hasn't been amazing. Youtube hasn't been streaming well at 360p when it used to before, international website seem to be taking longer to load etc. It's just generally not feeling as quick as it has been in the past. Anway, I did some speed tests the other day and the local one was fine but the international one wasn't. What do you think is the cause of this? I'm clearly isolated with this as noone else seems to be having problems...

Tests I just did now.

To London: (MWEB Speed test)
Last Result:
Download Speed: 558 kbps (69.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 463 kbps (57.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: -1 ms

To Cape Town: (MWEB Speed test)
Last Result:
Download Speed: 948 kbps (118.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 436 kbps (54.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: -1 ms

Good MOrning Guys, please provide me tracers to local and international sites; I would like to see if your browsing experience is reflected there.

I'm happy with MWEB for a change. Everything seems to be flying.

Hi oliverwww

Thank you for the information. I will add this to the open log on the account in order for our team to follow up with Telkom.
