Mx-q 4k smart android tv box media player remote functions

I have just purchased the MX-Q 4K SMART ANDROID TV BOX MEDIA PLAYER and I need to find out how the remote works, specifically when I am watching content from my hard drive via the media player.
Is there any manual, or can someone please give me some assistance.
Is there an alternative remote with more functions?
